Ultra-CLEAR LX Lead Glass
Our Ultra-Clear LX glass for X-Ray shielding applications is considered the best on the market thanks to the following properties:
- Very high light transmission, no yellow colour
- 57 % of lead oxide in the glass
- Wide range of lead equivalents available, from 1.1 to 14mm Pb (monolithic)
- Higher lead equivalences can be achieved by laminating multiple lead glass panes together

Lead Glass WITH SCREEN PRINTING
For installations where support structures need to be hidden, screen printing the glass edge offers a good solution. We can also provide this for our Ultra-Clear LX lead glass.

PRO-GR LEAD GLASS
The newly developed PRO-GR lead glass combines high gamma radiation shielding performance with the transparency and optical quality required for viewing windows in nuclear medicine and PET environments.
PRO-GR is manufactured from glass materials containing approximately 70% lead oxide, corresponding to ultra-high lead-content shielding glass, as used in nuclear facilities.
PRO-GR is available in two standard lead equivalencies:
- 5 mm Pb – glass thickness: 14.7 mm
- 7.5 mm Pb – glass thickness: 21.8 mm
Both versions are available up to a maximum size of 1000 × 1500 mm.
By combining multiple glass layers, higher lead equivalencies ranging from 10 to 25 mm Pb can also be achieved.
